Hebrew School Graduation
It was the final day of Hebrew School which started with school-wide morning prayers led by the older students. For the first time in the Shaloh House Hebrew School history, a new award was given for the winner of the Hebrew speed reading contest. Additional Aleph Champ medallions were given out followed by the final round of Jeopardy. Next came a bean hunt through which every student was able to receive extra points in addition to their Kosher Label points and General Knowledge Quiz marks. A wild auction followed, which led to awards and consequences. When all the excitement peaked it was time for the official presentation of awards to each student. A Barbeque lunch ended off this wonderful morning.

Lag B'Omer Barbeque & Carnival
It was a great demonstration of Jewish pride and celebration at the Lag B'Omer Cookout & Carnival at Shaloh House on Thursday. Thank you to the many families who came to enjoy, and really had non-stop fun on the inflated rides, and finished all the food and cotton candy. Congratulations to Lauren Davis and Mr. & Mrs. Baker, the winners of a summer-week vacation in Moosehead Lake in Maine. Special thanks to Shaws supermarkets for sponsoring the entire event.
We all had a first hand look at the continuous progress of our construction. Whether you were there or not, you may now see the newest construction update here.
